High density mobile shelving increases space utilization by up to 200% in offices with significantly less space required than traditional static shelving. Our standard mobile shelving system is mounted flush to the floor and has a very small profile to ensure that there is no tripping hazzard. Ball bearing wheels on the mobile base roll extremely easily on the track, allowing for the mobile shelves to be moved by hand. The mobile shelving base features an anti-tip device and brakes to keep the unit from unintentional movement.
Mobile racking storage systems are extremely compact and 100% accessible. They are similar to selective racking systems where only the racking is on wheels that move along floor rails. Each racking shelf remains compacted until it requires to be accessed. With the press of a button, which can be remotely controlled, electric motors move the mobile racking as needed to create an aisle space in between the two racking blocks that need to be accessed.
